Rob Lederer
A recently retired award-winning, highly successful teacher in Calgary, Alberta, Canada, Rob was involved in the teaching, development and diploma exam marking of Senior Level/Grade 12 Chemistry for 35 years.
Rob taught Advanced Placement Chemistry for 15 years, and taught IB Chemistry at Strathcona-Tweedsmuir School in Alberta, Canada for his final 10 years in the classroom.

Rob was an award-winning teacher, having received an Alberta Excellence in Teaching award in 1991(and nominated twice again after), and the APEGGA (Association of Professional Engineers, Geologists,and Geophysicists of Alberta) award for "Who Makes School Cool" in 1996 and 2008 (and nominated again in 2001, 2004, and 2014).  In June 2011, Rob received the “Baillie Award for Excellence in Secondary School Teaching” from Queens University. He was a successful football coach whose teams won three City Championships. He also coached cross-country running, where his school won the Provincial Championship for the eight years consecutive years.  He coached the track and field team, where six zone banners and one provincial title were secured.
Rob has had the pleasure of addressing the Grade 12 Graduating Class as Honourary Class President 9 times. He has run a Diploma Exam Preparation Course for over 7000 Grade 12 students since 1984!
 
Rob's students have the highest regard for his teaching ability. "Amazing", "Entertaining", and" Attention-grabbing" are only a few of the words used to describe his chemistry lesson delivery.
